Experience a sophisticated French cuisine at the excellent restaurant 16 Haussmann, located in the Radisson Ambassador Hotel in the heart of Paris close just behind the Opera Garnier. This super stylish French eatery boasts a superb position in the city of lights, with the busy department stores of Printemps and Galeries Lafayette just a stone’s throw away, making it a great spot for a well earned shopping break. The 16 Haussmann dining room has been thoughtfully designed by the well known interior designer Sybille de Margerie and has become quite a talking point in the city for its originality and style. Walls are covered in royal blue Bayadere stripes and rich mahogany Philippe Stark furniture and ochre drapes sit in contrast. There is a lovely terrace too for warm summer days and nights. As for the menu, renowned French chef Michel Hache has created an original French menu to match the décor with dishes such as artichoke terrine with matured Comté cheese and smoked bacon getting things off to a good start followed by golden scorpion fish fillet with an aged balsamic reduction or simmered veal breast casserole with Macaire potatoes. 16 Haussmann is definitely worth a visit both for the food and the fabulous design.
